By downloading, installing, or using Prelude for Weddings ("Prelude", "the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.
These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Steven Ringrose ("we", "us", "our").

Prelude is intended for use by professional wedding photographers, videographers, and related creative professionals. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You sign in to Prelude using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@prelude.day if you believe your account has been compromised.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

New users receive access to Prelude with a limit of 3 Weddings. A Wedding counts toward this limit at the point of creation. This limit applies regardless of whether Weddings are subsequently archived or deleted.
Once a Wedding is created it permanently counts toward your free tier limit. Deleting or archiving a Wedding does not restore a free slot.
Prelude Pro is a paid subscription that removes the Wedding limit and provides full access to all current and future features. Prelude Pro is available on a monthly or annual basis.
Current pricing is displayed within the app and on the App Store listing. Prices are in GBP and include applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable notice.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Your Apple ID will be charged at the start of each billing period. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
We may offer introductory pricing for new subscribers. These offers are available to new subscribers only and are subject to Apple's eligibility rules.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, you retain access to Prelude Pro until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
All refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
If a free trial is offered, it begins immediately upon subscription and converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.

You agree to use Prelude only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Prelude including Wedding details, timelines, and schedules. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
We do not claim any ownership over your content and will not use it for any purpose other than operating and improving Prelude.

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at prelude.day/privacy. By using the app you agree to our Privacy Policy.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings, Account, Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
A permanent record of the number of Weddings you have created is retained even after account deletion for the purpose of enforcing the free tier limit if you create a new account. No personal or Wedding-specific data is retained in this log after account deletion, only an anonymised count.

Prelude integrates with the following third-party services:
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.

All intellectual property rights in Prelude, including the app, its design, code, content, and branding, are owned by Steven Ringrose or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in our intellectual property other than the limited licence to use the app as described.
"Prelude for Weddings", the Prelude name, and associated marks are the property of Steven Ringrose.

We aim to keep Prelude available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time without notice.
We may release updates to the app from time to time. Some updates may be required to continue using the app. We are not obligated to provide updates or to maintain any particular version of the app.

Prelude is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Sunset forecasts, airspace data, and weather information are provided for guidance only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for professional decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Steven Ringrose shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Prelude, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Steven Ringrose from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction, you may also have rights under the laws of that jurisdiction that cannot be excluded.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email where we hold your address. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
